Epoxy Coatings

PyroTarpTM Epoxies are formulated from resins that provide excellent bonding strength, high resistance to cracking from vibration and flexing, significant resistance to salt water spray, high teperature-high humidity cycling, and resistance to most fuels and solvents. The coating is light weight, very durable and is highly effective in protecting many substrates from the effects of fire. Usually an application of no more than 0.010 inches (10 mils), roughy the thickness of a business card, is adequate to make aluminum, fiberglass and many composites resist fire to well over 2000°F. The coating may be applied at room temperature or at elevated temperatures up to 300°F if more rapid curing is required.
